Booked from Facebook

Final Facebook entry.

As I’ve been threatening to do for months, I deactivated my Facebook account today. It’s been fun, but I just don’t have time to spend there anymore.

In other social networking news, …

I’ve removed all of the images from my Flickr Photostream. I’m using too many variations of those images on my websites to be concerned with having to link them from Flickr to keep kosher with their Community Guidelines, i.e.,

Do link back to Flickr when you post your Flickr content elsewhere.
The Flickr service makes it possible to post content hosted on Flickr to outside web sites. However, pages on other web sites that display content hosted on flickr.com must provide a link from each photo or video back to its page on Flickr.

My Twitter account (no followers) will be going on the Public Timeline as soon as I delete nearly all of my tweets and start over there. I don’t imagine I’ll be posting anything other than clever turns of phrase or sentences I’ve written that I particularly like. I won’t be posting links there.

Delicious bookmarks linkroll (max. 100 links) is visible here at Tuttle’s Corner in the right sidebar toward the bottom. All hobotrain network posts are bookmarked at Delicious, here.

[Updated 1 August 2010]
I’ve made a hash of my Delicious bookmarks. I kept my linkroll (max. 100 links) in the right sidebar at the old tuttlescorner.com, but there isn’t room to display so long a linkroll on the new site. Here, I only have space for between 16 and 20 bookmarks down in the footer (TC | Delicious), so they’ll be filtered to mainly display restaurant-oriented links. I’ll create a new Delicious account for my other bookmark categories in the next few days.
