I’ve realized that the reason I never say “Let’s be clear” or “I want to be clear” or “Are we clear?’ anymore is that I don’t want to be taken for a Scientologist. Nothing against Scientology, but I just don’t feel ‘clear’ is a word I can use with complete impunity in my milieu.

When did this blog stop being about the restaurant?

Also, when did you make it public? I see a reservation form and social bookmarking links. Posts and comments are missing. What the hell is going on here?

When I, and we, started the restaurant, it was all about the restaurant. When the restaurant became a home and we became a family it was all about that. My life is still all about those things, us, this place. But this is Tuttle’s Corner, man. My corner of the world. My corner booth in my corner store, where I spend my days and nights (among friends) carving out my corner of the Internet from my corner of a coast to coast server cloud. Mine. I pay for it, and I’m going to use it however the fuck I like.
